Ghanaian Beat-maker and musician, Daniel Owusu Agyapong a.k.a. Danny Beatz who just released visuals of his new single ‘Danny Yei’ says he still sees himself as an underground artiste because the thought of it makes him work harder. He made this statement on an exclusive interview with DeSoul on Destiny radio. He also said, in making his beats and songs he doesn’t target only international but global market because his music has all the elements. He further talked about his just released new single ‘Danny Yei’ and his other songs. He was happy on how all his songs have made hits and ‘Danny Yei’ is no exception. Even though he believes the music industry is on a standstill he and his crew is marvelously proceeding forward. ‘’ To become great you will go through a lot of places before you get to your destination’’, he said. He explained that bloggers have written negative stories about him countless times but he isn’t bothered because there is no personal contact between artiste and bloggers even though he is easily approachable and sociable. According to Danny, he writes and releases his songs based on his instincts and conscience and his crew have massively been of help. He isn’t certain whether his newly released single will go on a tour because the decision relies on his management. His managers who were present also said their main focus is on Danny Beatz because he is the face and future of African Prince Record. ‘’We know music so we are very selective with what goes into music’’. They said. Source: destinyradioonline.com/diana-serwaa-omari
